MacBook Neo de la Apple nu este doar cea mai accesibilă MacBook de până acum, ci și cea mai reparabilă în "aproape paisprezece ani", conform unei analize detaliate realizate de site-ul iFixit. Aceasta se concentrează în special asupra bateriei, care, spre deosebire de modelele anterioare, este mult mai ușor de înlocuit, potrivit techcrunch.com.

Analiza iFixit relevă că, în timp ce acumulatorii vechilor MacBook erau de obicei lipiți, bateria modelului Neo este fixată într-un suport securizat cu 18 șuruburi. Deși aceasta reprezintă o cantitate considerabilă de șuruburi, iFixit a declarat că "șuruburile sunt întotdeauna preferabile adezivului". De fapt, această nouă configurare, care ar trebui să faciliteze înlocuirea bateriei MacBook-ului, a "provocat aplauze în biroul iFixit".
